Your Role as an Internal Coach
Supporting teams and leaders as part of a wider Squadify engagement
As an Internal Coach using Squadify, your role is to support teams and Team Leaders to make sense of their data and turn insight into action.
In practice, this means:
- Helping Team Leaders understand their team's results
- Supporting constructive, psychologically safe conversations
- Enabling teams to focus on one or two meaningful actions
- Encouraging continuity and learning across cycles
What you are not expected to do
- Judge or evaluate teams
- Interpret individual responses (these are never visible)
- Use Squadify data for performance management
- Act as a platform administrator unless explicitly agreed
Your value lies in sense-making, facilitation, and coaching, not in the data itself.
What "good" looks like
Effective Internal Coaches using Squadify create psychological safety, help teams stay focused and practical, avoid over-analysis, encourage learning over perfection, and support continuity across cycles.
You don't need perfect sessions. You need honest ones that move teams forward.
